Who’s
on stage.
Your orchestra draws players from across Florida — people who teach all week and perform all weekend, and several who also hold chairs with ensembles around the country. They bring different training, different sounds, and different reasons for being here. What they share is that they choose to be on this stage.
Every section also makes room for students. Through the SCSO Mentorship Program, young players sit inside the section, rehearse the same music, and play the same concert alongside the pros. Not in a side room. In the middle of it.
