Play beside
the orchestra.

For aspiring musicians ages 14–22, the SCSO Mentorship Program turns lessons into lived experience: professional guidance, serious repertoire, and a seat inside the orchestra.

Designed for upper-grade musicians

Side by side

With SCSO professional musicians

Epic Series

Rehearse and perform with the orchestra

Learn from inside the sound

The fastest way to understand an orchestra is to sit inside one.

Mentorship fellows work directly with SCSO professionals on performance technique and musicianship. They hear how a professional section listens, adjusts, breathes, and moves together—then put those lessons into practice in rehearsal and performance.

01 / Listen

Listen closer.

Work with professional musicians on the details that turn notes into communication: technique, sound, timing, and ensemble awareness.

02 / Rehearse

Rehearse for real.

Prepare Epic Series repertoire in the same room, on the same schedule, and alongside the musicians who bring it to the stage.

03 / Perform

Take the stage.

Selected participants perform side-by-side with the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra on the Epic Series.
