Your Space Coast Symphony Orchestra opens its doors and gives its subscribers a behind-the-scenes experience. To get a better understanding of the work involved in creating a symphonic concert, our subscribers are invited to attend this special rehearsal, a dynamic precursor to the concerts themselves. Musical adventurers may be as surprised by the path leading to a performance of Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 6 as by a work they have never heard before. Some people may find that the experience can be more fun — not to mention more enlightening — than the performance itself. Aaron and guests will sit down and talk about what to expect during the rehearsal and also give some insight into the works themselves.
