The Mentorship Program provides opportunities for aspiring musicians to work with the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra’s professionals on performance technique and musicianship. This unique Mentorship Program is custom designed for upper grade music students, aged 14 – 22.
Selected participants will have the opportunity to perform side-by-side with the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra musicians on the Masterworks Series. SCSO’s impact on the cultural vitality of Central Florida, on the art form itself, is perhaps underscored by the remarkable impact on the futures of its Mentorship Program fellows.
Youth who have participated in our Mentorship Program have been accepted to the Cleveland Institute of Music, Julliard, Curtis Institute, University of Southern California, Eastman, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, among others.
