Tina Edelstein

Principal Flute

Tina Edelstein earned her Master’s degree in Flute Performance from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Since relocating to Florida in 2016, she has been an active performer, collaborating with various symphony orchestras across the Central Florida area. A few of her most cherished performances are: the incredible Yo-Yo Ma and Andrea Bocelli with Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Swan Lake with Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, exploring contemporary music with Orlando Contemporary Chamber Orchestra and creating music with stroke survivors organized by Strokestra in collaboration with Royal Philharmonics musicians.

In addition to her passion for music, Tina enjoys exploring a wide range of interests and hobbies that enrich her creative pursuits and personal life. She channels her creativity into crafting stunning jewelry using Swarovski Crystals and polymer clay. When she’s not making music or crafting, she dedicates her time to honing her martial arts skills. A devoted practitioner, she actively trains and competes in Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai whenever her concert schedule allows. She has a passion for cooking and takes great joy in exploring and sharing new recipes with her husband. Despite her busy days, she always finds time to unwind and snuggle with her two adorable cats Bowie & Vanta.

Kelli Boquet

Kelli is currently a freelance musician and has been performing in the Central Florida area for over 20 years with small ensembles and orchestral groups. She currently performs with the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, Encore Performing Arts, and other local orchestras. During her career, she has had the distinct honor of performing with the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra with selected solo artists Judy Collins, Emmet Cahill and John Stevens. In addition to her orchestral work, Kelli has been fortunate to have the opportunity to perform for several operas and Broadway musicals in the local area.

Kelli is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she studied flute with Susan McQuinn. She was actively involved in multiple musical organizations while at UCF including the Marching Knights, Orchestra, Wind Ensemble and Flute Choir. Kelli performed for several musical theatre productions on and off campus and was chosen to perform at Paula Robison’s Flute Master Class at Rollins College and Donna Wissinger’s Flute Master Class at UCF. She was also the featured soloist with the UCF Orchestra performing Concertino by Chaminade for Flute and Orchestra. Finally, in 1991, Kelli performed as a member of the flute duo at Walt Disney World during the holiday season. In 2013, Kelli recorded her first EP “Expressions”. ​

Additionally, Kelli is a member of the Central Florida Musicians Association, Florida Flute Association and a lifelong member of Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity.

Stephanie Hoeckley

Flute & Piccolo

Dr. Stephanie Hoeckley is a passionate and engaging flutist and teaching artist located in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She is the Assistant Professor of Flute at Arkansas State University where her innovative studio uses mindset, motivational psychology, and music gamification to help enthusiastic musicians stay happy and healthy. Her students are regularly accepted into university music programs and honor bands, prizewinners in regional competitions, and have held principal positions in youth orchestras. Dr. Hoeckley encourages community, creative curiosity, and musical expression to inspire a lifelong love of music in her students.

Dr. Hoeckley is a sought-after clinician at music camps & clinics due to her unique and engaging workshops, expertise as a teaching artist, and contagious enthusiasm. Her workshops have been featured by the Florida Flute Association, Southeast Michigan Flute Association, Arizona Flute Society, Musician Enrichment Foundation, Phoenix College, and Mesa Community College. She is also a board member of the Arizona Flute Society, and a member of the National Flute Association, the National Association for Music Education, and a Commissioning Member of the Flute New Music Consortium.

Recognized as a skilled performer and a versatile collaborator, Dr. Hoeckley has been invited to perform at the National Flute Association’s Annual Convention and the Flute Society of Washington’s Mid-Atlantic Convention. As an orchestral musician, she has performed with the West Valley Symphony, Symphony of the Southwest, and the Chandler Symphony. Previously, she has also been a member of the Mill Ave Chamber Players wind quintet and the Arizona Musicfest Wind Quartet, an educational outreach ensemble that performed around the Phoenix Metropolitan area.

Dr. Hoeckley earned her Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees at Arizona State University as Elizabeth Buck’s Teaching Assistant. She also holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the University of Central Florida where she studied with Nora Lee Garcia. She has also studied privately with Carol Wincenc, internationally acclaimed flutist and Flute Professor at Juilliard.

Brendon Wilkins

Flute & Piccolo

Brendon M. Wilkins is a multi-instrumentalist performer and educator who is involved in both classical and jazz woodwind performance. Brendon has performed in various musical mediums throughout the United States and has maintained active teaching studios in-person and online in New York, Texas, Florida, and Maine.

Brendon is the Director of the Jazz Band and the Wind Ensemble, and Co-Chair of the Music Department at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. In addition to his responsibilities as a conductor, he teaches woodwinds as an Applied Music Associate. Brendon also performs with the Colby Symphony Orchestra and the Colby Jazz Collective.

In addition to his musical responsibilities at Colby College, Brendon founded the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility in Music Organization (IDEAs in Music). The only organization of its kind on campus currently, this group provides a space for students, faculty, and staff to discuss the most pressing issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in music.

Brendon’s active musical career has led to performances with José M. Aponte, The Barcelona Clarinet Players, Scott Belck, Wayne Bergeron, Ron Carter, John Clayton, Carey Deadman, Rosana Eckert, Gregg Field, Quamon Fowler, Keith Ganz, Marshall Gilkes, Gordon Goodwin, Frank Greene, Stefon Harris, Jimmy Heath, Steve Houghton, Hugh Jackman, Sean Jones, Audrey Ochoa, Brad Leali, Sal Lozano, Johnny Mathis, Joe McBride, Marcus Miller, Christian McBride, Kate McGarry, Chris Potter, Rashawn Ross, Rex Richardson, Eric Scortia, Doc Severinsen, Jim Walker, Jiggs Whigham, and many others.

Brendon was named a winner of the 2015 National Flute Association Jazz Flute Masterclass competition. He was also selected as a featured soloist in the NFA Jazz Flute Big Band in the same year. He was named a National Finalist on classical flute in the National Association of Negro Musicians Scholarship Competition, which led to a performance at the National Convention in Los Angeles, California. Brendon also performed at the Texas Music Teachers Association Annual Convention after winning first prize at the Young Artist Competition.

As part of his commitment to increasing the musical possibilities available to jazz flutists, Brendon has been a leader in the National Flute Association’s jazz flute community. Brendon currently is the National Flute Association’s Jazz Flute Competition Chair and a member of the Jazz Flute Committee. He previously served as an Advising Member for the Jazz Flute Committee from 2015 until 2021.

Brendon was selected to play alto saxophone and piccolo in the 2016 Disneyland All-American College Band in Anaheim, California. This program has been a Disneyland Resort tradition since 1971 and gives top college musicians from all around the United States the opportunity to perform and learn about the entertainment industry first-hand through performance at Disneyland and clinics with world-renown artists and experiences in nearby Hollywood.

While attending the University of North Texas, Brendon performed with the North Texas Wind Symphony and the One O’Clock Lab Band, and recorded on multiple albums with each ensemble. The UNT College of Music faculty selected Brendon as the 2015-2016 Presser Scholar. The Presser Foundation allows the music faculty of an accredited college to award one undergraduate student a scholarship in their senior year. This student, selected on the basis of excellence and merit, will be known as the Presser Scholar.

Brendon Wilkins is originally from Saratoga, New York and is currently living in Maine. He earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Multiple Woodwinds with a cognate in Music Technology from the University of Miami. He also graduated from the University of North Texas with a Master of Music in Multiple Woodwinds, a Bachelor of Music Education, and a Bachelor of Jazz Studies.

Brendon has studied flute with Mary Karen Clardy, Jennifer Grim, Elizabeth McNutt; jazz with Brad Leali, Alex Fraile, Mike Steinel, Chris McGuire, and Fred Hamilton; saxophone with Eric Nestler and Dale Underwood; clarinet with Margaret Donaghue, Deborah Fabian, and Connor O’Meara; bassoon with Kathleen Reynolds, Gabriel Beavers, and Jorge Cruz; and oboe with James Ryon and Robert Weiner.
