Founded in 2009, the SCSO has become one of the most active and innovative orchestras in the United States, presenting year-round performances that span classical masterworks, film and Broadway favorites, jazz, pops, and collaborative projects with local artists and cultural partners. With a mission to make professional symphonic music affordable, accessible, and inspiring for people of all ages, the SCSO offers more performances each season than any other musical organization in Brevard and Indian River Counties.

The orchestra’s diverse programming continues to redefine what a 21st-century symphony can be. From large-scale productions to intimate chamber concerts, from children’s programs to community collaborations, every performance celebrates connection, creativity, and the joy of live music. Under Aaron T.
