Do you have a passion for symphonic music? Would you like to play a meaningful role in the success of Your Space Coast Symphony Orchestra? We invite you to take your place at the heart of Your Symphony by joining our family of volunteers. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm help bring extraordinary performances to life and make a lasting impact throughout our community.

Volunteers serve in many different ways at Your Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, both at concerts and behind the scenes. Whether welcoming guests at performances or assisting with projects throughout the season, volunteers play an essential role in helping Your Symphony deliver exceptional experiences for audiences and musicians alike.

At concerts, volunteers often serve as ushers, greeting patrons, helping guests find their seats, answering questions, and ensuring everyone feels welcome from the moment they arrive. Others assist with ticketing and will call, helping patrons purchase or pick up tickets and providing friendly support at the box office. Volunteers may also help with lobby sales by assisting at concession or merchandise tables during performances.

Behind the scenes, stage crew volunteers support the Stage Manager by helping prepare the stage before rehearsals and concerts, ensuring everything is ready for the musicians and the performance ahead.

There are also several opportunities to volunteer from home. Phone volunteers help answer and return calls during the Thursday and Friday leading up to each concert series by logging into the orchestra’s phone system remotely; training is provided and scheduling is flexible. Volunteers may also assist with online projects throughout the season, such as updating community event calendars, helping with research, or completing small administrative tasks.

Other volunteers help with mailings by preparing envelopes or postcards for distribution, and those interested in organizational work can assist with the music library by helping sort music, catalog materials, and support the librarians with ongoing library projects.

However you choose to help, volunteering with Your Symphony is a rewarding way to support the arts while connecting with a welcoming community of music lovers.
