Your Space Coast Symphony Orchestra returns to the King Center for the Performing Arts for a breathtaking collaboration with an extraordinary cast of International Ballet Stars in Tchaikovsky’s most beloved and spellbinding masterpiece, Swan Lake.

Beneath the glow of a moonlit sky, a lake shimmers with mystery, enchantment, and fate. Here, swan maidens drift across the water like living poetry, bound by a sorcerer’s curse that transforms innocence into captivity and love into sacrifice. At the heart of this timeless legend stands Prince Siegfried, whose encounter with Odette—a princess imprisoned in the form of a swan—ignites a romance as fragile as it is powerful. Yet shadows gather, deception lurks, and the promise of true love is tested against forces both magical and merciless.

Carried by Tchaikovsky’s sweeping and emotionally transcendent score, Swan Lake unfolds as a world where music breathes, movement speaks, and beauty holds the power to break hearts and heal them all at once. From moments of haunting stillness to surges of breathtaking orchestral passion, the music becomes the pulse of the story itself—lifting every gesture, every glance, and every leap into something truly unforgettable.

This spectacular production transports audiences into a dreamscape of wonder through hand-painted sets and more than 200 custom-designed scenic elements, creating a stage world that feels suspended between fantasy and reality. Moonlit forests, shimmering waters, and grand palace halls emerge with cinematic grandeur, surrounding the dancers in an atmosphere of enchantment that must be experienced live to be believed.

The stage is brought to life by a remarkable international ensemble of International Ballet Stars, uniting celebrated artists from Moldova, Spain, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Romania, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Poland, the United States, Japan, Turkey, Armenia, Tajikistan, and Belarus, alongside Principal Dancers from Ukraine. Together, they embody the elegance, athleticism, and expressive depth that define the highest traditions of classical ballet, offering audiences the rare opportunity to witness world-class artistry gathered on a single stage.

Audiences will experience the ballet’s most cherished and awe-inspiring moments—from the mesmerizing precision of the “Dance of the Little Swans,” where movement becomes musical architecture, to the thrilling brilliance of Odile’s legendary 32 fouetté turns, a breathtaking display of virtuosity that has captivated audiences for generations. Each scene glows with poetic beauty, emotional intensity, and the kind of theatrical magic that lingers long after the curtain falls.

Performed with the full power and richness of live orchestral music by Your Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, Swan Lake becomes more than a ballet—it becomes a living, breathing fairy tale. Lavish costumes shimmer under the lights, choreography flows like water, and Tchaikovsky’s music surrounds the audience in waves of passion, tragedy, and hope.

Critics have celebrated the production’s emotional impact and technical brilliance. The Daily Texan wrote that “the magic of Swan Lake transcends generations,” praising Odile’s “perfectly executed iconic 32 fouetté turns,” and affirming that “Swan Lake continues to inspire dancers and patrons of the arts with a performance that never loses its sparkle.”

Elegant, dramatic, and profoundly moving, Swan Lake remains one of the most treasured works in the history of the performing arts—a ballet where love defies darkness, beauty conquers fear, and magic feels breathtakingly real.

Do not miss this rare opportunity to experience Swan Lake performed with live orchestra, international ballet stars, and spectacular theatrical design. Whether discovering the ballet for the first time or returning to a beloved classic, audiences will find themselves swept into a world of romance, mystery, and unforgettable beauty.

Libretto and choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov (1895). Revised choreography and stage direction by Andrei Litvinov, People’s Artist of Moldova.
