In the grand tradition of storytelling, the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra invites you to a magical matinee where fairytales and music become one. Our enchanting journey, titled "Once Upon an Orchestra," is designed for our youngest listeners, bringing the classic story of Pinocchio to vibrant, musical life.  Step into the magical world of Pinocchio Portraits, a musical adventure for wind quintet based on Carlo Collodi’s classic tale! Aaron will play the part of narrator and guide listeners through ten short, fun-filled movements, bringing Pinocchio and his colorful friends to life.

Meet Geppetto, the kind-hearted woodcarver who creates a puppet with a big dream—to become a real boy! Follow Pinocchio as he encounters tricky tricksters like the Fox and the Cat, joins the circus with Harlequin, meets the enchanting Fairy Godmother, and tumbles into the mischief of Toyland with Candlewick. The story takes a thrilling turn when Pinocchio and Geppetto find themselves trapped inside a giant whale—before their exciting, triumphant reunion!  Through lively melodies and playful rhythms, the wind quintet paints each scene with musical magic, making this a concert full of surprises, laughter, and adventure for the whole family.
