Once Upon an Orchestra

An enchanting story will come to life when your Space Coast Symphony Orchestra presents another installment of the popular Once Upon an Orchestra musical series for small fry. Designed for preschool and kindergarten aged children, the 45-minute outdoor story time will feature two instruments of the string section, the violin and cello. Daniel Dorff's The Three Little Pigs opens the fun-filled program, telling the familiar story while illustrating musical variations and leitmotifs, using lots of humor for children, adults, and musicians. The audience even helps the wolf blow the house down!  The program will be narrated by Space Coast Symphony Orchestra Artistic Director, Aaron T. Collins.  The musical program for children is free, with regular admission to McKee Botanical Garden.
