Stevie Wonder, the Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson, the Temptations, the Supremes, the Four Tops and Marvin Gaye are some of the names associated with one of the greatest record labels of all time. Your Space Coast Symphony Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Frank Wosar, will present the hits of Motown, a style of soul music with a distinct pop influence. Accompanied by the dance choreography of Joanne Collins, selections will include: My Girl, Sitting On The Dock Of A Bay, Try A Little Tenderness, I Heard It Through The Grape Vine, Ain’t No Mountain, Papa Was A Rolling Stone, Keep Me Hanging On, Ain’t To Proud To Beg, Shotgun, Do You Love Me, It Takes Two, Proud Mary, Respect, My Cherie Amore and more!   Enjoy an evening of jazz music accentuated with an homage to the artists that crafted the trademark “Motown Sound” and the unique rhythmic groove that changed America.

Frank Wosar holds a Masters degree in Music Education from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelors degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Miami. He played solo chair in the Grammy Award winning jazz band the CJB (concert jazz band) at UM all four years that he attended. He has been awarded the Down Beat Award for outstanding jazz solo four times and two times by the International Association for Jazz Education.

Currently he is the adjunct Jazz Trombone Professor, and the Director of Jazz Bands at Valencia College. His two companies, Long White Cloud Entertainment, and Brown Bag Brass Band (co-owner) can be seen performing all over this great state.

Frank has had the privilege to have played with The Supremes, Hootie and the Blow Fish, John Michael Montgomery, Mark Anthony, Gloria Estefan, Willie Chirino, Ray Ruiz salsa Orchestra, Paul Anka, Jim Belushi, Jim Widner Big Band, John Fedchock Big Band, Ed Calle Big Band, Arturo Sandavol, Duffy Jackson Big Band, Sam Rivers, KC and the Sunshine Band, the Glenn Miller Orchestra and many more.

For the last seven years he has been the lead/solo trombonist for The One and Only Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and is the lead trombonist for the
Dr. Phillips Jazz Orchestra.


Joanne Collins is a multidisciplinary Dancer, Choreographer, and Teacher from New Zealand (N.Z).

Her early training was at the Dance Education Centre in Tauranga, N.Z, while there Joanne performed in The Merry Widow, Jesus Christ Superstar, and was a soloist and understudy for the title role of Giselle with ballerina Lisa-Maree Cullum from Germany. She performed twice with the Royal New Zealand Ballet in La Sylphide and as Clara in The Nutcracker. Joanne holds two awards from N.Z Prime Ministers - National Young Asthma Achiever, Rotary Young Achiever - won second place in the 1996 N.Z National Ballet Awards, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia (AUS) where she graduated with the award for Most Outstanding Classical Dancer.

Joanne is an Examiner for British Ballet Organization and has performed and choreographed for The Apollo Theatre Company and The Human Agency for events such as Fight For Life, Queen of the Whole Universe, Cinderella 2013, Skycity Casino New Year 2013, Skycity Casino 2014 and Sylvia Park Winter Fashion Show 2013 and 2014, Aladdin 2014, and Robin Hood 2015. She has toured New Zealand with The Glenn Miller Orchestra 2013, 2015 and with The One and Only Tommy Dorsey Orchestra 2014.

In AUS Joanne performed as a guest artist with Swing Patrol Melbourne and with them created Showgirls Dream and The Foxy Follies Dance Troupes, performing at various events including movie premiers, sporting events, television broadcasts, art festivals and music videos. During 2003 – 2005 she toured extensively as a Soloist, Dance Captain, and Aerialist with Royal Caribbean International Cruise Lines based in Miami, FL. Her television appearances include roles and extra/stunt work in Spartacus, Shortland Street, The Almighty Johnsons, and Golden.

Joanne is currently based in Orlando, Florida, where she has been a full-time Maintenance Choreographer at Walt Disney World, performed in Hombre this year at the Orlando Fringe Festival, is the Vice President of Long White Cloud Entertainment, and Choreographs and Dances for Brown Bag Brass Band and The Space Coast Symphony Jazz Orchestra.


Kaitlyn Cahalen is an Oklahoma City University alumni with a Dance Performance degree. She has professionally danced in Los Angeles, New York City, and Orlando Florida. She has also worked for companies like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and New Balance to name a few.

She has taught dance in California and Florida and loves the art of dance and everything it brings to a performers' life. She always encourages performers to follow their dreams and never give up on what they love.
