From fresh takes on “Winter Wonderland” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” to lively, jazz-infused arrangements like “Auld Lang Cha Cha Cha,” “Little Drummer Boy Boogie,” and “Yo Tannenbaum,” every tune is a musical gift waiting to be unwrapped. You’ll hear vibrant arrangements by legendary writers including Rick Kubis, Gordon Goodwin, and Sammy Nestico, along with heartwarming renditions of “Silent Night,” “Jingle Bells,” “Here Comes Santa Claus,” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
Adding even more sparkle to the celebration is guest vocalist Kim Reteguiz, whose powerful, soulful voice and infectious stage presence have made her a star across the Southeast. A semi-finalist in the International Blues Challenge and frontwoman for Kim Reteguiz and the Black Cat Bones, she brings a magnetic blend of blues, jazz, Latin, and soul that will fill your holiday season with joy and groove.

Tickets are $35 in advance for adults and available through our website or by calling (855) 252-7276. Tickets can be purchased in person at any Marine Bank & Trust location. To find a ticket outlet near you, click here. Tickets at the door are $40. All SCSO concerts are FREE for those aged 18 and under or any college student with a student ID. Discounted tickets are available for all SCSO concerts through the 'Symphony for Everyone' Program. Seats are not assigned and open.
Artist Information
Kim Reteguiz is a powerhouse vocalist whose passion and authenticity ignite every stage she steps onto. A semi-finalist in the 2018 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Reteguiz has firmly established herself as a commanding presence in the blues, jazz, Latin, and soul music scenes. Her electrifying voice, combined with her innate storytelling ability, has captivated audiences at festivals, concert halls, and clubs across Florida and throughout the Southeast.
As a lead vocalist with both Atlanta’s Emerald Empire Band and Jacksonville’s Bay Kings Band, Reteguiz brings boundless energy and versatility to every performance. She also fronts the Crescendo Amelia Big Band, recipients of the 2025 Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville Artist Grant—a testament to her artistic excellence and contributions to the region’s cultural landscape.
Beyond her collaborations, Reteguiz is the creative force behind Kim Reteguiz and the Black Cat Bones, her original project that fuses blues, Caribbean-Latin rhythms, and soul into a sound that’s both deeply rooted and refreshingly distinctive.
A beloved fixture across North and Central Florida, South Georgia, and the Carolinas, Reteguiz continues to earn acclaim as one of the region’s most dynamic and sought-after vocalists—an artist whose performances radiate both technical mastery and emotional truth.
