AN AFTERNOON IN VERO BEACH Once a year the instruments and the spreadsheets get put down, and everyone who makes this orchestra run ends up in the same room. Wine, food, the whole year laid out honestly, and a first look at what comes next. We do this twice — once on the Space Coast, once here in Indian River County. Same conversation, closer to home. Everyone is welcome — musicians, volunteers, donors, subscribers, and anyone who has ever sat in one of our audiences. HOW LONG Come and go as you like ON THE TABLE Appetizers and desserts, all afternoon ADMISSION A reservation just helps us set the room Can't make this one? There's a second afternoon in Melbourne on August 29 — details here. COME FOR THE COMPANY FIRST Musicians out of concert black. Volunteers who have quietly logged hundreds of hours. Donors and sponsors whose names are printed in every program but whose faces you may not know yet. Board members, staff, and patrons who have been in the same seats for years. Grab a drink, fill a plate, and talk to somebody new. THE YEAR IN REVIEW Aaron and the SCSO Board present the 2025–2026 Annual Report: what your orchestra accomplished, who it reached, what it cost, what it earned, and what all of it made possible. No highlight reel. The real numbers. Say what you loved, what didn't land, what you would do differently, what you want to hear next, and how we can make your experience better. Where your orchestra is headed next, including a few things in the works that have not been announced anywhere else yet. Afterward you are welcome to stay for the brief annual Board meeting, and to hear what serving on the Board, the Associate Board, or a committee actually involves. Loosely. There is a report and a board meeting in there somewhere, but most of it is people talking to each other. WHEN YOU ARRIVE Appetizers, desserts, and no program to follow. No dress code, no rush. THE MIDDLE The year in numbers and stories, followed by questions, opinions, and whatever you have been meaning to say. BEFORE YOU GO A look ahead, then the brief annual Board meeting. Stay and watch, or head home. Both are fine. Admission is complimentary. Your reservation simply tells us how much wine to pour and how many chairs to set. Questions?
