Christmas with Emmet Cahill is a Limited Edition holiday event built around one of the season’s most beloved guest artists. Known around the world for his radiant voice, commanding stage presence, and years as a principal singer with Celtic Thunder, Irish tenor Emmet Cahill returns to Your Space Coast Symphony Orchestra for a concert filled with beauty, warmth, and unmistakable star power. A familiar favorite with SCSO audiences, Cahill has a rare gift for making even the largest hall feel personal, bringing both grandeur and intimacy to every song he sings. The program moves effortlessly between sacred masterworks and cherished holiday favorites, from O Come, O Come Emmanuel, Ave Maria, O Holy Night, and The Holy City to I’ll Be Home for Christmas, Winter Wonderland, and The Christmas Song. The orchestra and chorus surround these melodies with rich, luminous sound, while touches of Ireland — including the haunting Wexford Carol — add something especially personal and unforgettable. This is a special Limited Edition presentation. Tickets are $40 in advance for adults and may be purchased online, by calling (855) 252-7276, or in person at any Marine Bank & Trust location. Tickets purchased at the door are $45. All seating is general admission and seats are not assigned.
As always, admission is free for those 18 and under and for college students with a valid student ID. Discounted tickets are also available through our Symphony for Everyone program.

Artist Information
Widely regarded as one of Ireland’s finest young tenors, Emmet Cahill has captivated audiences throughout North America with his rich voice, charismatic stage presence, and heartfelt interpretations of both Irish and classical repertoire. A native of Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland, Cahill began his musical studies at an early age, attending high school on a music scholarship before continuing his education at the prestigious Royal Irish Academy of Music, where he earned a degree in Music Performance.
His exceptional talent was recognized early through numerous honors, including The John McCormack Bursary for Ireland’s Most Promising Young Tenor, recognition as the Royal Irish Academy of Music’s Most Promising Young Singer, and multiple awards at Ireland’s National Feis Ceoil competition. These accomplishments brought him to the attention of producer Sharon Browne and led to his joining the internationally acclaimed Celtic Thunder in 2011, where he quickly became one of the ensemble’s most beloved principal vocalists.
In addition to his success with Celtic Thunder, Cahill has established a distinguished solo career, performing in more than 80 cities across the United States and Canada. His sold-out solo debut at New York’s Carnegie Hall drew widespread acclaim and helped solidify his reputation as one of the leading voices of his generation. In 2017, he signed with Sony Music and released his debut solo album, Emmet Cahill’s Ireland, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard World Music Chart, as well as the Amazon and iTunes World Music charts.
Known for his ability to blend classical technique with emotional storytelling, Cahill’s performances span beloved Irish standards such as Danny Boy, When Irish Eyes Are Smiling, and My Wild Irish Rose, alongside Broadway favorites including Bring Him Home and The Music of the Night, as well as timeless classics like Moon River and Some Enchanted Evening. His interpretations of traditional Irish repertoire have often drawn comparisons to legendary Irish tenor John McCormack.
Cahill has appeared at many of North America’s most prestigious venues and events, including performances with the world-renowned Tabernacle Choir, appearances at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York, the Pentagon, Atlanta Symphony Hall, and national television broadcasts including The Today Show. Whether performing with symphony orchestras, in concert halls, churches, or theaters, he continues to win audiences with a voice of remarkable warmth, power, and authenticity.
