Singers and public invited to free Viera performance of holiday classic
(Viera, FL) December 7, 2015 – Messiah, the enduring Christmas oratorio by George Frideric Handel, will be presented as a free “Sing-Along” concert on Friday, December 18th at 7:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Viera, 5655 Stadium Parkway, 32940. All area singers are invited to participate in the grand choral event that attracts several hundred Central Florida singers each year. The assembled singers will be accompanied by members of the professional Space Coast Symphony Orchestra with featured soloists from the Space Coast Chorus. SCSO Conductor and Artistic Director, Aaron T. Collins will lead the orchestra and chorus in the eighth annual Messiah Sing-Along. Singers may bring their own score or use the music provided. Space Coast Symphony Orchestra Conductor and Artistic Director, Aaron T. Collins expects the Christmas sing-along will really make a joyful noise.
