Double bassist, performer, and teacher thriving in the world of classical, jazz, and contemporary music. Versatile and accomplished in multiple genres on the double bass, Cody Roseboom has had an active and growing career performing since his first year of college in 2012. As an orchestral musician, he has appeared with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Ocala Symphony Orchestra and as a principal and soloist for the Florida Metropolitan Orchestra. He was also selected for the two week Hot Springs Music Festival of 2014 to play with multiple groups featuring challenging orchestral pieces and chamber works for smaller ensembles.
He was a founding member of the group The Roseboom Trio in 2012, which performs in a gypsy jazz style at many venues around Orlando. Also versatile in straight ahead jazz, smooth jazz, modern jazz, and funk he has appeared with the group TR4.0 since 2014, and has also freelanced with other groups in varying styles.
