Random Fact:
I enjoy paleontology and searching for fossils when I have time. So far, I have found Pleistocene age remains of dwarf deer, giant beaver, glyptodon, various fish, tortoise, and sharks!

Bassoonist Angela Moretti enjoys a robust career in the fields of music performance and education. Ms. Moretti is a recent graduate of The Florida State University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. She currently serves as the Music Specialist at Lakewood Park Elementary, Clinician at Indian River State College, and maintains a studio for double reed students in the Vero Beach area. She is a 2005 graduate of the Brevard Music Center, with a notable performance as Principal Bassoon under the baton of Keith Lockhart. During her college years, she won first place in both the FCCAA Winter Symposium Concerto Contest in the Woodwind Division and IRSC Concerto Competition. Her principal teachers have included Jeff Keesecker, Bill Ludwig, Randy Doo, and Wayne Bresette.

In addition to her active career in education, Ms. Moretti has enjoyed performances with the Vero Beach Chamber Orchestra, Port St. Lucie Concert Band, Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, Panama City POPS! Orchestra, Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra, Southwest Florida Symphony, and the Treasure Coast Wind Band. She is a sister of the Sigma Alpha Iota Professional Music Fraternity and an active member of the Florida Music Educators Association, Florida Bandmasters Association, and the Florida Elementary Music Educators Association.
