Your Space Coast Symphony joins forces with the Indialantic Chamber Singers to present Sing We Noel: A Messiah Sing Along.   This special collaborative concert will feature both ensembles.   The Indialantic Chamber Singers will present the Florida Premiere of Magnificat by composer and conductor, Kyle Jones.  In addition, they will present sing-alongs to Christmas Carol favorites from England, Germany, France, and South America accompanied by the SCSO brass and percussion.   Then enjoy the Ninth Annual Messiah Sing Along, the enduring Christmas oratorio by George Friedrich Handel.  Hailed as Central Florida’s “ultimate Christmas concert,” and an annual sellout, this free concert is a don’t miss!    All area singers are invited to participate.  Accompaniment will be provided by members of the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra with featured soloists.  The public is invited to sing or simply listen to the perennial Christmas favorite.  Scores are provided to participating members.

The Indialantic Chamber Singers is the premier vocal ensemble of Brevard Country, Florida.  Our professional quality ensemble has been a presence in Brevard and beyond since 1999. We are a professional quality, auditioned group comprised of degreed musicians, choral arts professionals and experienced vocalists.  ICS performs a variety of accompanied and a cappella works in many traditions, including sacred, traditional and contemporary.

Kyle JonesA transplant from the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Kyle Jones has been working with church choirs and various choral ensembles for over 20 years, directing both sacred and secular music in communities all over the southeastern United States.   Mr. Jones has had the privilege of working alongside some of America’s top choral conductors, including Dr. André Thomas, Dr. Anton Armstrong, Dr. Jerry McCoy, the late David Davidson and the late Robert Shaw.  Other experiences have allowed him to work with internationally-known conductors Andre Previn and James Conlon.

In addition, Mr. Jones has served as a choral clinician for the Florida Chapter of the Fellowship of United Methodist in Music and Worship Arts, musical director for the Little Theater Summer Music productions in Bainbridge, GA and director of the Tarrant Lutheran Chorale in Fort Worth, TX.

A composer of sacred choral music, Mr. Jones is the director of music and worship arts and organist at Eastminster Presbyterian in Indialantic, Florida, as well as the interim director of Brevard's premier choral ensemble, the Indialantic Chamber Singers.   Mr. Jones is a graduate of Furman University and attended Florida State University for voice performance.  He holds a Master’s degree in choral conducting from the University of North Texas in Denton.
